The Cube

The Cube is a live performance experiment.

We built the set from discarded metal to create a gritty container for a digital world. Inside, a dancer is surrounded by tulle screens, creating a holographic-like depth for the projected visuals. A painter creates visuals live on a tablet, painting the dancer’s environment in real-time. Alongside them, a musician triggers and manipulates electronic soundscapes. The three of them, dancer, painter, and musician are constantly listening and reacting. It’s a raw, collaborative conversation, where the mood can turn from sensual to deep, dynamic to colourful.
